โŒจ๏ธ Type “5.2” for Typescript Latest Version

Typescript has released its latest version 5.2. You can download it via npm with the following command.

npm install -D typescript

The key feature of this release is the support for ECMAScriptโ€™s Explicit resource management with the keyword using. This gives much control over the resources in Javascript such as I/O and Memory.

Other features include Decorator Metadata, named and anonymous Tuple elements, easier method usage for unions of arrays, and some optimization in checks along with some breaking changes.

๐ŸŽฏ The Dart and The Frog ๐Ÿธ, The Dart Frog

The Very Good Venture has released the major version of Dart Frog V1.0. Dart Frog is a fast, minimalistic backend framework for Dart.

The Dart Frog version 1.0 comes with many features and bug fixes. I am not a dart developer so I will simy highlights the heading, You can always check the source below to read it in more detail.

  • Deamon: Dart Frog daemon to make it easier for developers to build first and third-party tools to manage, diagnose, and build Dart Frog projects
  • New Auth package: dart_frog_auth, which provides a foundation to write authentication APIs
  • VS Code extension
  • Wildcard route support:
  • Environment: dev, stage, prod, etc
  • Custom init method

๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ On the other Hand

๐ŸŽ… An early Christmas for Ngrok Users ๐Ÿค˜

Ngrock is giving a single static domain to all of its users, free or paid.

FYI, Ngrock is the software that allows users to access your local host anywhere from the internet. Test mobile apps against your development backend. Build webhook consumers and demo websites without deploying. It has a free version with some limited capability, but good enough for testing.

The only limit for the free users was the time limit for the generated domain. I think it is around 24 hours after that link expires. Now that users can have one static domain, you can access at least one server of your machine forever from the internet.
