One year after introducing WordPress on Azure App Service, Microsoft has started offering a free hosting tier for developers to explore with WordPress on Azure without incurring any costs (almost).
The new WordPress playground relies on App Service F1 free tier and on Azure Database for MySQL free trial and may entail charges depending on your subscription type to those services.

💻 The Desktop App for TestContainers 🧪
AtomicJar has introduced the freely available Testcontainers Desktop, a new application that supports Testcontainers, an open-source framework that allows the use of real dependencies in unit tests.
Testcontainers Desktop supports several features that aren’t available in the Testcontainers framework and offers better support for investigations and debugging with fixed ports for containers and the option to freeze and reuse containers. 🚜 RustRover, A JetBrains offering to Rust Devs
JetBrains has announced a Standalone IDE for Rust, The Rust Rover. However, it is in the Early Access Program (EAP). So try it out and give them feedback.
Before you jump to it, let me clear this for you. It is Free during Public Preview only and will be a Commercial Product afterward similar to other JetBrains products.

SurrealDB is a new Cloud Native database. The team has released its version 1.0.0 on GitHub yesterday. They will officially announce them in their official event.
SurrealDb is a NoSQL database at the core but can be used as a traditional database as well. A few notable features of SurrealDB among many others are:
- Single Node: Can be run as memory only or on-disk storage
- Can run on Distributed TiKV
- Multitenancy Support
- And much more

The latest offering in Mac OS codenamed, Sonoma brings a lot of updates to the operating system. Having updated screensaver with live wallpaper along with better widget support on desktop.
The feature worth highlighting is Video Conferencing. With this, you can share your screen and have yourself overlay on top.
